Sweet Weekend finds and MORE Vintage Sheets!!

I finally found a Vintage Eskimo electric fan~ it works and it's Aqua= one happy camper!

I also bought a 1963 Wonder Book "The boy who wouldn't eat his breakfast", such a cute book with great illustrations. And to add to my deer collection, this sweet carnival carrousel glass with a deer. I've seen many of these before but never with a deer!

More Vintage Sheets! Love these colors.

Oh Deer....HOW CUTE!!!

I bought these unbelievably cute stickers from SHOP 66, her shop is filled with vintage housewares, dolls, fun supplies, and kitschy toys.

So many ridiculously cute deer items on Etsy.... here are just a few that I'm loving♥

Standing Fawn Necklace, by: AnomalyJewelry
Arm Candy, by: LemonTreeStudio
Wow! I am so crazy about these colors~ looks like candy! I just might have to buy this for myself for my Birthday :)

Grape Deer Plush, by:followthewhiterabbit
I've wanted one of these since first seeing one on Etsy. I love that they're handmade by someone, not factory made. It reminds me so much of the Vintage Dakin Dream Pets.
Now I need to get ready for something not so cute~ the Dentist! Hope everyone's having a great Summer :)

Custom Stamp....HOW COOL!!!

Not only does this guy do great work, but he's really nice too! I found RobertoSand on Etsy, sent him an e-mail asking if he could do anything with some graphic's I had for my Shop. He quickly got back to me with a few drafts & this is what he came up with~ I Love it!!

It's on the way.....I can't wait to use it :)

Flea Market Finds....

I found these amazing vintage quilts today. I almost didn't even bother asking how much since I was mainly there looking for frames but when the answer was $4 each I couldn't grab these fast enough!

I also found these sweet deers. I've recently started collecting deers~ I really love these little guys, I think they're celluloid.

Now, I'm going to wash the quilts and pray they don't fall apart.

Shopping List Saturday...Hoop Wall Art

What a great way to dress up your walls. I can only imagine the time that goes into creating one of these. I love that the materials are easy to come by, I've even picked up a few embroidery hoops at Thrift Stores with a project like this in mind....I just haven't gotten around to giving it a try yet.

Repurposed Vintage Sheets

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with these King size flat sheets, since the biggest bed in our house is a full~ I have the hardest time passing up vintage bedding whether I can use them or not. So, since I've been overdue for some kind of bedspread, duvet or coverlet for my bed, I figured turning these beautiful sorbet colored sheets into a duvet would make the perfect Summer bedding.

It was as simple as laying one sheet over my comforter to see how much I'd need to cut off, cutting the excess, pin the two sheets together(bright side face to face), sewing three sides~ like a U, leaving the top open to slip the comforter in(you can also add buttons or Velcro for closure, I just fold mine over). That's it, and the best part: NO pattern :)

Nice, sunny & bright!

Busy Busy Week....

I've had little time for Blogging lately. Two of my kids graduated...well my daughter's going from Elementary to Jr. High and my son from Jr. High to High School, so it been a hectic week with the school year coming to an end. Boy, I guess that means Summer's here already!
It's been awhile since I've shared any flea market/thrifting finds. Here are a few fun things I've picked up recently. Another Mary to add to my Collection, she might be my new favorite.

Great vintage frames.

Super cute figurines...and a new tablecloth under their feet(you can see pieces of it in all the pictures).

Vintage floral sheeting....something you can never have too much of.

Some of the cutest vintage trinket/charms a friend sent me~ I'm working on a charm bracelet.

I've learned that no matter how busy you get, you can always fit in a little shopping :)

Eiderdown Heaven...

Oh there's nothing better than curling up on the couch wrapped in a comfy Eiderdown. Someday, when I'm an old lady, I hope to have more eiderdowns than I know what to do with. I'm hoping my home looks something like this.

Breakfast in Bed....

This is so sweet. It also made me laugh when I saw it because of something I do just about every morning....

I serve my little girl Breakfast in bed! We started this ritual when she was about two or three, and now she's six~ I think it might be time to stop. I hope I haven't created a monster.... it could be a problem once she gets married :)

This vintage mint bed tray would be perfect for serving food or just to display.

How cleaver! I love this pillow.

I think it might be time to store the Bed tray in the attic, I don't see myself serving her Breakfast in bed when she's in High School.

Perfect Timing....

My Farm Chicks Book came just in time! I was sick this weekend, now I had everything I needed to keep me busy while laying around trying to get better. Well, I didn't really get to lay around, being a mom we never really get time off~ even when we're sick....but I did manage to watch a movie and skim through my Book.

What a cute idea, now I wish I hadn't sold my little Pink Wolverine Fridge!

I absolutely love these! Every time I come across vintage sheets at thrift stores I grab them....I've never understood why they aren't more sought after??? Which is a really good thing :)

Years ago I picked up something similar to this~ not knowing what it's function was(but it was white with red polka dots, too cute not to buy)now I finally know what it's for~ how funny!

The movie was O.K., but I'm crazy about my Book!!!
